The Frost Fortress

Venture into the frigid domain of the Frost Fortress, a towering edifice of ice and stone that rises from the depths of a frozen wasteland.

In "The Frost Fortress," adventurers are drawn into the heart of a frozen wasteland to confront the mysteries of a monolithic structure of ice and stone. The fortress, a source of unnatural storms threatening nearby settlements, holds the legendary Heart of Winter, an artifact said to grant power over the elements. The adventurers are called upon to neutralize the storm's source, retrieve the artifact for a scholar, or aid a spirit cursed to remain within the fortress's walls. The journey begins at the formidable ice-covered gates of the fortress, adorned with subtly shifting frost patterns. The challenge here involves melting or unlocking the gates without setting off the ancient alarm system, which would unleash ice elementals. Inside the fortress, adventurers face the Hall of Winds, where powerful icy gusts threaten to sweep them off their feet. The next chamber houses the Mirror of Frost, an artifact revealing future glimpses. Approaching the mirror triggers attacks by spectral warriors. The fortress culminates in the throne room of the Ice Queen, a powerful lich. The battle requires disrupting her magical connections to weaken her defenses. In a desperate move, the Ice Queen retreats to the Crystal Cavern.
